What staffing usually includes

In Bali, expect a villa manager, daily housekeeping, a cook for breakfast and often one further meal, and a driver available by the day. Provisions are billed at cost. In Thailand the structure is similar, with chef service quoted more often per meal than per day.

Ubud or the coast

Ubud is river gorge, terraces and cool nights — the choice for a quiet, wellness-led week. Seminyak, Canggu and the Bukit are for beach, surf and dinner. Many stays split the two, with a 60–90 minute transfer in between.

Season

April to October is the dry season in Bali and the peak for rates; November to March brings afternoon rain and the best value. Thailand's dry window runs November to March on the Andaman side, with the Gulf islands on an inverted calendar.

Almost always. A villa manager, daily housekeeping and a cook are typically inside the nightly rate, with food billed at cost. Confirm whether the cook covers one meal a day or two before comparing houses.
When is the best time to visit Bali?
April to October is dry and busiest. November to March is the green season — hot, with heavy afternoon showers rather than all-day rain, and noticeably lower rates.
