What a Mustique house costs
Mustique is owned by a company in which the homeowners hold shares, and every house on the island rents through that single channel. Rates include staffing — usually a cook, housekeeping and a gardener — and a mule, the island's open-sided vehicle, which is how everyone gets around.

Grenadine houses in the Collection:
How the island works
Getting there
Barbados or St Vincent by long-haul, then a light aircraft of eight to nineteen seats. Baggage limits are real; check them before packing.
Beaches
Macaroni for the long Atlantic sand, L'Ansecoy and Endeavour for calm swimming, Britannia Bay for the boats and the bar.
Eating
Your house cook for most nights, the Cotton House and Basil's Bar for the rest. There is no supermarket in the usual sense.
Getting around
One or two mules come with the house. Nothing on the island is more than fifteen minutes away.
- Christmas and New Year houses are held by returning families — book twelve to eighteen months ahead.
- Confirm how many staff and mules the rate includes, and what the food account works out at.
- Provisioning lists go in before arrival; almost everything arrives by boat.
- May to July is warm, green and roughly a third of peak rates.
- September and October are the quietest storm-season months, with limited island services.
