What a Mustique villa costs
Mustique is owned by a company in which the homeowners hold shares, and every villa on the island rents through that single channel. Rates include staffing — usually a cook, housekeeping and a gardener — and a mule, the island's open-sided vehicle, which is how everyone gets around.

How the island works
Getting there
Barbados, St Lucia, Martinique or St Vincent by long-haul, then the Mustique Company's own airline, Air Adelphi, which flies 18-seat Twin Otters. Baggage limits are real; check them before packing.
Beaches
Macaroni for the long Atlantic sand, L'Ansecoy and Endeavour for calm swimming, Britannia Bay for the boats and the bar.
Eating
Your villa cook for most nights, the Cotton House and Basil's Bar for the rest. There is no supermarket in the usual sense.
Getting around
One or two mules come with the villa. The island is small enough that nothing is far.
- Christmas and New Year villas are held by returning families — book as early as your dates are fixed.
- Confirm how many staff and mules the rate includes, and what the food account works out at.
- Provisioning lists go in before arrival; almost everything arrives by boat.
