What each stay is like
Gora Kansuiro: a ryokan with meals included
A ryokan room, not a villa: three futon beds on tatami and a private hot-spring bath, with breakfast and dinner in the rate. The listing records open-air and public baths and free parking; dinner must be reserved at least two days before arrival, and cots or extra beds are not available. Pay at the property.
LUX Hakone Yumoto: closest to the train
A detached villa the host places about a 13-minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station. The listing records a private hot-spring bath, sauna, an outdoor pool, barbecue terrace and full kitchen. Pets are allowed at no extra charge; parties are not, and arrival time must be arranged in advance. The sample price reflects a displayed 10% discount.
Villa Noël Hakone Skylight: near Lake Ashi
A Motohakone villa within walking distance of Lake Ashi, according to the host, on a 4,000 m² plot with a 200 m² deck. Recorded facilities include a barrel sauna, outdoor jacuzzi and an indoor stone bath with semi-natural hot spring. Quiet hours run 22:00–07:00; no pets.
Noël Hakone Gensen: the large-group option
A Ninotaira villa with 21 bed places across six bedrooms, a natural hot-spring bath, barrel sauna, theatre room and parking for five cars. The host gives drive times of about six minutes to Hakone Kowakien Yunessun and nine to the Hakone Open-Air Museum. Outdoor amenities close 22:00–07:00; pet charges may apply.

- The two Noël villas include their cleaning fee in the total; check whether the rate you see does too.
- Match the cancellation terms to the rate: the cheaper Noël samples are non-refundable.

- Without a car, LUX Hakone Yumoto is the only stay the host describes as walkable from a station; ask the others about transfers.
