The Grenadines calendar
Canouan follows the standard eastern Caribbean pattern: a drier season that the Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology places at roughly December to May (varying across the region), and a warmer, wetter season from June to November that overlaps the hurricane window. What distinguishes the island is how little the crowd level changes — with a limited villa count and a jet-capable runway, it stays quiet even in February.
The value is at the edges. Late April and May keep dry-season conditions at wet-season pricing, and the first ten days of December are the cheapest good weather of the year before the festive rate card takes over.
