Seasonal bands

Mallorca's curve is steeper than the wider Mediterranean because the peak is compressed into seven weeks and locked to a Saturday changeover. Late June and the second half of September deliver the same sea at a materially lower rate.

Coast premiums

Rate follows privacy, view orientation and drive time to Palma. The Tramuntana carries scarcity - protected land means almost no new stock - while the south-east prices on space rather than address.

Staffing, boats and provisioning

Housekeeping and grounds sit inside almost every rate. The additions that shape a week are the chef, a second vehicle and a day boat, and all three are constrained in the peak seven weeks rather than expensive in the abstract.

  • Private chef

    USD 350 - 650 a day in shoulder season, USD 500 - 900 in July and August. Book with the house, not on arrival.

  • Provisioning

    A first shop for eight runs USD 500 - 900 outside peak and USD 700 - 1,200 in August.

  • Day boat with skipper

    USD 1,200 - 3,500 in shoulder, USD 1,800 - 5,000 in August, and cheaper from the port nearest your coast than from Palma.

  • Vehicles

    Two cars for a group of eight outside Palma and Andratx. Island rental stock sells out for August by spring.

Methodology & limitations

Bands are read from live connected partner inventory for Mallorcan villas of four bedrooms and above with a pool and housekeeping, compared against the same houses in the June shoulder. Ranges describe what the market asks, not a quote: live pricing for any specific estate is confirmed at the point of reservation through our partner network. Figures exclude the Balearic sustainable tourism tax.
