Weekly bands

Courchevel prices by the week, not the night, and the curve is set by three blocks: Christmas, New Year and the French and British February half-terms. Mid-January and mid-March are the same chalets at a third to a half of the peak ask, with better snow than the Christmas week in most years.

Village premiums

Altitude and piste access price separately from size. The 1850 lanes carry the ultra-prime stock and the altiport; 1650 buys the same lift system for a third less; 1550 and Le Praz trade the door-to-piste transition for village character.

Staffing and transfers

A Courchevel rate is normally quoted fully staffed, which makes it look high against an unstaffed Alpine comparison and cheap once the service is unbundled. The lines that sit outside the rate are the ones to budget for.

  • Chef, host and housekeeping

Almost always inside the weekly rate in 1850. Where a chalet is quoted self-catered, expect EUR 600 - 1,200 a day for a chef and host across the season and more across the festive block.

  • Driver with vehicle

Usually included in 1850 for village movements. Beyond that, EUR 500 - 900 a day, and parking near the Croisette is the reason nobody self-drives in peak weeks.

  • Ski staff, passes and hire

Three Valleys passes, in-chalet boot fitting and a private instructor sit outside the rate: budget EUR 400 - 900 a day for an instructor and EUR 90 - 110 a day per adult for the pass.

  • Transfers and the altiport

Geneva by road is two and a half to three and a half hours and EUR 700 - 1,400 each way in a peak-week vehicle; helicopter from Geneva or Chambery to the Courchevel altiport runs EUR 3,500 - 7,000 a leg.

Methodology & limitations

Bands are read from connected partner inventory for fully staffed Courchevel chalets of five bedrooms and above with chef, host and daily housekeeping, compared against the same chalets in the mid-January trough. Rates are quoted per week, Saturday to Saturday, and exclude lift passes, ski hire and transfers. Ranges describe what the market asks, not a quote: live pricing is confirmed at reservation through our partner network.
